Finding Myself by Going to Church

A dear, longtime friend, Becky, stopped by to share something from her garden.
We caught up on family happenings and then discussed going to church in the community or listening to a church service online.
One observation of mine is that worshiping in person at church cannot be replaced by online viewing. Raising your voice and sometimes hands, in a group of people all focused on The Holy, Sovereign God becomes so meaningful. God sees me and I love singing to Him. God sees each of us when we take time to worship Him.
Later this got me to thinking that it’s not always about going to church to minister to others. It’s also about humbling yourself and allowing someone to minister to you. And setting aside time to go to church is a compliment to God.
It shows devotion and honor to a friendship that means more than any other in your life. For He is worthy to be praised!

I Samuel 2:2
“No one is as Holy as The Lord. There is no other God, nor any Rock like our God.”
